Statistics on JAMB 2020 examination that all Jambites must see

JAMB result 2020 statics is out since the results have been released . is wise to no your chances of getting admission statistics has been announced,

The statistics below is
(JAMB UTME 2020).
The Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has given a statistics of the performance of candidates in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination According to him, 2,906 candidates scored over 300 as against 4,683 in the 2018 results. He added that
57,579 candidates scored between 250 and 299 as against 64,120 in the 2018 results.
Further break down shows that,
366,757 candidates scored between 200 and 249, which he said is a significant improvement from the 2018 results.
361,718 candidates scored between 180 and 199 as against 325,152 in 2018, while 494,484 scored between 160 and 179 as against 455,898 last year.
410,844 candidates scored between 140 and 159 as against 346,825 recorded in 2018 while also 99,463 scored between 100 and 139 as against 64,712 in 2018.
For those that scored low in JAMB , see JAMB result upgrade 2020 and solutions
Looking at this result, it is seen that people generally passed more in 2020 than in 2018 (of course except among the category of people that scored above 300 ).
Now, the question you should ask is, “ will admission be more tough/hard in 2020 compared to 2020?” or others will say “will the cut off marks be lower or higher?”
Admission Might Be Tougher, Don’t Relent Yet
Some people might think that a score above 300 will guarantee them
admission in 2020 . Let me tell you, THAT IS TOTALLY NOT TRUE.
In case you don’t know, I scored above 300 in my first JAMB and I still didn’t the cut off mark for my course in UI.
Why? What Happened?
I was overconfident and didn’t prepare for the Post UTME at all.
Fortunately (yes fortunately), I didn’t pass the Post UTME and my course was changed to Chemistry.
Now, I have gotten the course I really want after my second UTME and I am happy where I am.
My point is, the JAMB statistics may not totally tell you what Post UTME will look like in 2020 .
Who knows?
The questions might be simpler, more people may pass the Post UTME (especially the people that choose the same course with you).
In fact, some people that scored 30-40 marks below my first JAMB score got the course I couldn’t because they worked hard for the Post UTME (and I didn’t).

The registrar, Prof. Oloyede also said that about 1,792,719 candidates sat for the exams, while 34,120 candidates had their results withheld for examination malpractice also
15,145 results were withheld for further clarification.
He mentioned that some of the irregularities that marred the 2020 UTME include; multiple registration, manipulation of biometrics, impersonation and deliberate destruction of power sources during the examination .
He mentioned a case of some one registering 23 times for just a single examination.
He said that the many arrests has been made and so far 116 centres had been delisted for various infractions, saying that 18 of the 116 centres were previously sanctioned by the governing board of JAMB.
He finally assured institutions that the board is committed to sending biometrics and photo details of candidates to the institutions for post

Real meaning of Egugun be careful

Everyone has been singing it. Social media was recently flooded with it. People made jokes at gatherings out of it. Nigerian musician, Obesere, will be full of joy and satisfaction that his song has been trending on social media. The song is  Egungun be careful . Released about 19 years ago, a part of the song only recently flooded social media and was on almost everyone’s lips. So, what does this song really mean? On the surface, it is just about a masquerade walking towards the expressway and its need to be careful while doing so. But when you dig deep, there is a lot you come to understand. 1.All of us our masquerades to some people.  Life is complicated. There is a whole lot we don’t understand about it. When it comes to the men and women that make life worthwhile, they are even more complicated. You may meet a person you really don’t like. But after a while, you may end up becoming best friends with that person. You may also like a person and even get along well ...
